  • Founder and Principal

    Nina Habib, Colleague’s founder and principal, is a former communications executive for the City of New York and for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. After handling crisis communications with the media and the public for many years, she transitioned to talent acquisition for organizations and agencies, seeking out qualities in candidates that reflected what she knew worked in the world of media communications - hard work, fast thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for truth and excellence. Nina and her team believe that essential to building a top performing team is building a diverse one, and so inclusion is top of mind for every project we undertake.

    Nina is a Queens, NY native. She attended Hunter College High School, a public magnet school in Manhattan, and graduated from Columbia College of Columbia University with a degree in Political Science. She currently lives in New York City with her husband, their three teenagers, and a Cairn terrier.
